It opens a configuration page. Choose the map size and type you want, and go to the location you want on your map. When you have the map as you would like, go to the “Share or Embed” settings (See the menu button top left), choose the Embed Map option, copy the HTML code provided to the clipboard (Ctrl+C) and then click the Insert button at the bottom of the window. After a few seconds you’ll see your Google map widget inserted on your page. You get 'sticky' objects (like a navigation bar which stays at the top of the page as users scroll), extra animations, advanced widgets (ecommerce, charts, photo sliders), and a pile of extra drawing and graphics tools.

Xara Web Designer is a good WYSIWYG web builder, easy to use and capable of producing quality results. If you need to produce anything more than a simple personal site we'd recommend the Premium edition, though - it's more expensive, but the extra power is worth the cost.
